CARE Values

Compassion

Your situation and feelings will be of the utmost importance. While some definitions will imply that pity is part of compassion, you won’t get that from me. Pity is not what you need. Understanding is what you need, and I will listen so that you are heard fully and understood!

Respect

This is both a noun and a verb. You are deeply admired for considering taking a step to move away from toxicity. You will be treated with consideration, thoughtfulness, and the attention needed to help you move forward.

Accountability

We will share responsibility for your growth and recovery. I will provide you with the ear, tools, exercises, and coaching that can best serve you and you will be responsible for executing them. It will be hard – even the first step can be emotional and scary, but even taking this first step in working together means that you are willing to move towards a future, positive step!

Empathy

Similar to showing compassion, I deeply feel what you have experienced – as an employee, as a leader, as an individual, and as a family member. Remember, toxicity doesn’t just impact you while you are engaged in work. It encompasses you as an entire being. We will focus on the entire you – not just the you at work, but the you at home, the you while you are sleeping, and the you that is simply being.
