About Me
I’ve spent over 25 years in Human Resources working for Fortune 500 companies and small non-profit organizations. As you probably know, HR is more than hiring, firing, and retiring. I have found that after working in almost every area, what is truly motivating is seeing people grow, succeed, and enjoy their day-to-day work, which led me to make a big career change.
I excel in coaching and developing people. I have worked with great performers and those who may just need a boost in confidence. Everyone has a backstory that has led them to where they are today. Because I’m a natural researcher, investigator, and relator, I treat each client accordingly – no cookie cutter techniques here! While I may use assessment tools to get a baseline, I will likely ask a lot of questions and have great conversations with my clients to get them where they want to be!
On the flip side, I am passionate about Diversity, Equity, Inclusion,
and Belonging (DEIB) and company culture, which leads to higher levels of
employee engagement and satisfaction. I
enjoy learning about an organization’s culture and what makes it either a great
place to work or discovering why it may not be ideal. I work with leaders to unlock these
questions, and then help them develop plans to keep or improve engagement
levels.
All in all, I believe that everyone contributes – it’s just
identifying how to capitalize on their strengths, exercising their passions,
and lifting them up to realize their full potential! That is my joy – living life lifting others.
